1973 Entered India National University of Visva-Bharati to study
techniques and
history of India dyeing, India indigo dyeing .

costume of India , a wood
block of the dye ,
and indigo blue of India

1975 Graduated from Tama Art University and received Master of Art and
Craft.
1976 Started the cultivation of Japanese indigo plants for own use.
1977 Found ANZAI Indigo Stencil Art Dyeing [Ai-gatazome] Studio.
